Description

Our most popular magnets come together in a single set that’s perfect for STEM learning, magnetic exploration and discovery, science fair projects, classroom demonstrations, at-home learning, and more.

    • Kit includes one each of 1" horseshoe, 2" horseshoe, and 2" bar magnet with pole markings, plus a tube of iron filings and steel shapes.
    • Includes magnets made of ALuminum, NIckel, and CObalt (ALNICO).
    • Compare and contrast the magnetic strength of horseshoe and bar-shaped magnets!
    • Use the iron filings to view a magnet’s invisible lines of force!
    • See how many steel shapes each magnet can lift and hold!
    • Common-sense caution: do not inhale, ingest, or get iron filings in eyes.
